Creating a web site is quite a daunting task and requires a lot of thought. Here at Hunter Design we have years of experience in delivering bespoke, objective driven websites. Our team works closely with our clients, ensuring that what we create fulfils its purpose.
We believe that all websites should not only look great but also have a clear objective, whether it is to gain a contact through the site or to a sell a product online, we create sites to achieve specific goals.
You won’t find any template sites at Hunter Design. We create all of our sites bespoke and type all of the code by hand. This means that we don’t use software such as Dreamweaver, which can bulk out websites with unnecessary code. This is a good thing, especially when it comes to updating your website.
Each website we create meets the following criteria:
We have an extremely clear planning process and time line each and every project. As a client of Hunter Design you will get regular updates on how your project is progressing. We work to the following 4 phases:
Once we have made a website live we don’t forget about it. Three months later we setup a review meeting to discuss how the site is doing. We also monitor search engine rankings and recommend any necessary changes.
Web sites need to be easy to use and eye catching. Very often most people will determine whether they like a website within a few seconds. People judge websites on ease of navigation, design, functionality and loading times. This is why we make sure that your site ticks as many boxes as possible. Obviously not everyone (only a small amount!) will like the design of your website, but you can be sure that navigating and loading a website, by Hunter Design, will be a quick and easy process.
Some useful questions to ask yourself
Before embarking on a web design project we suggest you ask yourself the following questions:
These questions will allow you to form a strong vision for your website and will greatly aid us in helping you in achieving it.
Hunter Design creates clear and easy to understand specifications and quotations. We cost each part of the project, allowing you to adapt your site to your budget. We try not to use lots of jargon and if there is something you do not understand we will be more than happy to explain it to you.
No matter how big or small your project is we would love to hear from you. Please click here to contact us and we will get back to you very soon.

SEO is one of the most important aspects of owning a website. Without it a website may never get noticed. The process of SEO revolves around making sure a site achieves good visibility amongst all of the major search engines, for relative keywords or phrases.
Joe Bloggs owns a restaurant in London and has a great looking website. Joe has optimised his website for the Google search engine. When people search for his site using keywords (e.g. restaurants in London) on Google, he comes up on page one. This causes him to get lots of hits to his website as his site is very prominent on Google.
Onsite SEO is all of the stuff on the website, e.g. text content, meta tags, title tags and the website address of the site. By using keywords within these elements we increase the chance of a website being found on a search engine.
Offsite SEO is all of the stuff off the website that helps to boost it on search engines. This includes link building, reciprocal link building, paid links, email marketing and social networking, using sites like Twitter and Facebook.
Hunter Design can help you achieve a higher ranking on Google using various methods. We always start by looking at your website and seeing what it needs to achieve. Understanding what keywords are associated with a site is vitally important and allows us to set a focus our SEO activities.
We offer the following SEO services. Please note that we will only recommend these services should your site definitely need them. Before we recommend a service we will always critique your website first and highlight where your site is lacking with regards to SEO:
Our on site package is great for sites that have not been properly optimised for Google with regards to elements such as the title tags, meta tags, text content and sitemap. We will quote you for this package as the price is very dependant on the state of your website. Usually this is a relatively quick process and is not hugely costly.
Our off site packages revolve around link building. Link building is vitally important as it give your site authority online. This 'authority' is picked up by Google in the form of a 'Page Rank' which helps to raise your sites standing for particular keywords that you choose. We offer the following packages:
350L
350 Guaranteed incoming links to your website - £150.00
200L
200 Standard directory links to your website - £90.00
Please note that we manually submit your site to directories, we do not use any robots or automated scripts to submit your site. We use keywords within the description of the link to maximise the effect of the incoming links. The 200L package is not guaranteed, as some directories may not choose to list your site. Also many of the directories can be slow to accept your website. We will make a webmail account when submitting your website to the directories, to avoid your email account from being spammed.
Please call us to find out more information. One of our team will be able to explain exactly what the process entails.

Many thanks to Hunter Design (or Richard and Chris) for creating a professional, exciting, functional, and easy to use website, when we first approached Hunter Design we had a ‘do it yourself’ site which looked cumbersome and unprofessional. We gave Hunter Design a blank sheet of paper and after a series of project meetings and finalising an idea; they designed a site that we are very proud of. Our clients enjoy the interaction within the site and since going live we have had a number of very positive comments from potential clients, and other businesses in our field.
